Sabbath Reflections: Learning to Listen Well Before We Act

Monday:

Prayer

Dear Lord, we humbly accept we need the Holy Spirit to inspire us.

Action

After seeking inspiration, with God’s grace, we are willing to walk the walk.

Tuesday:

Prayer

Dear Lord, we reclaim ancient and wise traditions that honor You and each other.

Action

With God’s grace, we can encourage offering to bless meals; and invite people to worship.

Wednesday:

Prayer

Dear Lord, We know miracles are not earned; we thank You for healings and help.

Action

By God’s grace, we take time to record answered prayers and miracles we have witnessed.

Thursday:

Prayer

Dear Lord, We need to accept and give thanks when You and others help us.

Action

With God’s grace, we acknowledge and give thanks.

Friday:

Prayer

Dear Lord, let my conduct reflect Your love through my actions and when I speak.

Action

With God’s grace, we share the Good News with our actions: we use words when needed.

Saturday:

Prayer

Dear Lord, we need to remember, You told the disciples to wait for the Holy Spirit.

Action

With God’s grace we can learn to be patient and listen to the Holy Spirit before we act.
